Obs. N. P. Smith & M. A. Neves (13/03/2021). Det.: N. P. Smith (15/03/2021). This is one of several Heliconius species that exhibits Müllerian mimicry. For this reason, it is hard to identify some Heliconius species and this might not be H. erato.
